Week 11- Best of Sales, French Prison Style Tattoos and Vintage Options

I’ve spent a significant amount of time researching and curating this newsletter, I’ve found some of the best sales going on at the moment and then scoured through 1000’s of items to find those that are best priced. I’ve found some of my favourite outfits from the week and then listed the brands that they are wearing or wear often so that you can take inspiration from them. I spent a lot of time looking through eBay trying to find vintage pieces, and I ended up consistently stumbling along 80s and 90s Woolrich, so i’ve dedicated a portion of the newsletter specifically to it. There is of course much more, with niche brands from Japan, France and Glasgow as well as some great tattoo recommendations. Outfits Of The Week

Mark clearly loves bright colours, particularly with his shoes. I think this works really well, adding a fun element to his outfits. He wears a lot of: Real Mccoy's, Groovin High, Post O'alls, RRL & Drake’s.

Siohban on the left below wears a lot of vintage Levi’s, Babaa, New Balance, landMee, Toast and LL. Bean.

Jimmy, on the right, uses colour really well, wearing a lot of Beams Plus, Drake’s, Uniqlo and Paraboots.

Garbstore (own brand)

Garbstore’s own brand I have recently discovered is great, paired with the fact they’ve got a massive sale on, with most of their items 60% off I would highly recommend having a look through their website . Most pieces are inspired from workwear or military design with utility based features.

Studio La Fatiche

Made from 100% lambswool these jumpers are very high quality and have a fun element of design to them. They’re pricey but you’re paying for the quality.

Vintage Woolrich

I came across this jacket below and went on the hunt for something similar, for much cheaper of course. Lots of 80s and 90s Woolrich jackets came up that were also in great condition and reasonably priced. So i’ve rounded up the best of the bunch, but its well worth taking a look for yourself through eBay as there’s plenty more great options.

Tempo Online

A small shop located in a quiet spot in the back alleys of Nakatsu, Japan. They sell clothing, bags as well as miscellaneous goods that have a charming character to them. Their bags are some of my favourite, blending a traditional and modern approach.

Haku

Haku is an online retailer that uniquely will pay for import duties on your order. Their focus is on choosing high quality and well put together clothing, which is obvious considering the consistency of the quality of the items on their website. They have many Japanese brands that are particularly hard to find outside of Japan, if you’re into that then have a look through their website and see what you like.

A pretty cool and reasonably priced jacket, the back pocket to put the detachable hood into is super unique.

Tattoos by Sirano

Mainly traditional French Prison tattoo style, but pretty uniquely done. Some great pieces and clearly very talented. I’m particularly a big fan of his work involving tattooing artists painting or drawing.
