Week 5 Newsletter: Best finds of the week
Best items of the week: Focused on Japanese brands offering high quality, intricately designed clothing that's well priced. As well as new releases from niche UK brands and new trainer releases!
This newsletter includes a focus on Japanese brands Norbit and Dawai Pier 39, highlighting items that are exceptionally well priced considering the craftsmanship behind them. I’ve also included some of the best new releases from this week, from both niche and larger brands that remain reasonably priced.
Brand Spotlight: Norbit by Hiroshi Nozawa
Norbit by Hiroshi Nozawa's clothing is influenced by traditional military styles and functional outerwear. Norbit retains elements of Japanese design, whilst fusing with technical, functional and workwear, creating a truly unique fusion of styles.
I’ve included some pieces by Norbit that I believe are well priced, for the most part they are significantly discounted making them more affordable. I have also included links to websites based outside of the UK such as the Netherlands, Taiwan and Korea in order or to bring you the best deals. Bear in mind that when buying items over £135 from outside the UK you may be subjection to a 20% tax and 4% customs fee, this will often still be significantly cheaper then buying from within the UK.
3 Layer Rain Jacket
The 3 Layer construction using some mind bogglingly lightweight fabrics produces a 3 seasons rain jacket that is super lightweight and packable yet crammed with features. With detachable sleeves it can be worn as both a long sleeve or short sleeved version. To see just how versatile this jacket is this video demonstrates three different ways you can wear the jacket and even how it can be used as a bag! Probably one of my favourite jackets I have featured on this newsletter to date, a true piece of exquisite craftsmanship available at a great price on some of the links below.

Light Weight 3 Layer Vest by Norbit
Made with super light-weight material and meticulously crafted with modern techniques whilst retaining a traditional Japanese element of design this is a beautiful vest. The link I have included is a Japanese link, do not be put off by this, as even with tax and a potential small customs fee this item will likely be cheaper than buying from a UK website. Of which there are none currently stocking this piece, and you will have an item very few have in England.

New and Upcoming Releases by Asics and Solomon
Recently we have seen a lot boots and more formal footwear, coinciding with a decline in trainers. This is a trend that I agree is happening, however, these are some models recently released or releasing soon i’ve found that I believe will have a big year.
